Signed first edition, first printing hardcover of "The Theology of Romantic Love: A Study in the Writings of Charles Williams" by Mary McDermott Shideler (Harper & Brothers, 1962). Signed and inscribed by Shideler on the reverse of the half title page.

Jacket is protected in a new archival sleeve, but shows rubbing/scuffing and shelf wear around the edges, including chipping, creases, and tears. There is a blemish towards the base of the jacket spine from sticker removal. Large tear along rear joint of jacket. Boards are straight and clean, but with bumped corners. Binding is firm and spine is fairly straight. All pages are clean and unmarked, though tanned. See photos for condition. Sold As-is.
