Vtg Original Program Opening Week of Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts Philharmonic Hall September 23 - 30, 1962

We were there for the opening when we lived in New York City.

Original program, blue cover stamped in gold. The preface to this elaborate program for a week of ceremony is a poem by Richard Wilbur entitle "A Poem of Dedication to Lincoln Center".

The program measures 8" x 12" and has 39 pages and explanations of 13 concerts. Beautiful music by the New York Philharmonic, Boston Symphony Orchestra, the Philadelphia Orchestra, the Cleveland Orchestra, the Julliard Orchestra, Arthur Gold and Robert Fizdale (pianists), and the Metropolitan Opera.

Great condition.
