Stunning & scarce First Edition vintage sand carved cameo glass vase by Kelsey Murphy for Pilgrim Glass:
- Multi-layered in green palette; complex design depicts forest landscape w/variety of trees against sky w/birds in flight, all framed by large oak leaves
- Bulbous vase, approx. 9” H x 7” D at widest point & 2 lbs 14 oz
- Matte/satin/frosted finish
- Signed, dated & numbered on bottom: Kelsey/Pilgrim, 1992, 900 630, 15/25 (this is the very limited First Edition; second, larger edition was produced after in response to design’s popularity)
- No cracks, repairs or hard water stains; excellent overall vintage shape w/one minor flaw, unnoticeable except upon very close inspection: approx. 1/3”-1/2” rough spot along inside edge of vase top/rim (see closeup photo)
