This is an amazingly adorable 70s mid century hand painted Wide eye kitsch painting on solid teak board with mounts. Dimensions: 18x6 inches.

The painting is in the wide eye style famous in the mid century era. Depiction of a Yeomen of the Guard, resplendent in their Tudor-style uniform. They are also known as beefeaters.

This is a fantastic and very attractive example signed by the artist Jacobs' the painting has shown some signs of wear and slight flaking however this is expected with age and use. There are small scratch marks near the left knee and down the leg. This painting is easily hung via the top mount bracket. Perfect for the modern home or the vintage and retro space.
