The 1977 Pontiac Firebird Formula was a mid-range model of the Firebird lineup, offering more performance than the base Firebird, but less than the iconic T/A. The Formula came standard with a Pontiac 301 V8 engine but could be upgraded to a 49-state Pontiac 350 or a California/high-altitude Olds 350.
